Clean As You Go recently cleaned a two-storey townhouse in Stockbridge Edinburgh for a client who had just moved in to the premises requiring windows cleaned on both sides. The window cleaning involved cleaning single glazed windows internally with mould and mildew remover to remove the condensation and dust which builds up on windows of this nature.

Externally the windows were cleaned using a professional rubber blade.

Oven Cleaning Edinburgh

We did Oven Cleaning in Edinburgh for a client that had a particularly dirty oven which he wanted cleaned before guests arrived.

We paid a visit to his premises in Trinity, Edinburgh and he asked us if we would also de-clutter his flat as well.

We put two trained staff into his flat all day and they went about deep cleaning his bathrooms, his shower door and paying close attention to detail to chrome fittings.

We also advised him to get his carpets cleaned by Chem-Dry of Edinburgh and this has been booked in and is going ahead.

On first inspection of the oven to be cleaned, we apply a non-toxic chemical aimed at dissolving carbon and protein which is baked onto the oven racks. This is left in a chemical basin for a period of 24 hours to allow the chemical to break down the hard to remove grease and baked on food.

The next step is to remove the baked on food and grease with steel wool and polish to a shine.

The internal oven components are cleaned with our secret non-toxic gel which burns into baked on grease and food which may have been on the surfaces for many months or even years!

We also deep clean hobs as part of the oven clean at no extra charge.

Deep Cleaning – Royal Highland Show

This year the Royal Highland Show saw over 100,000 visitors pass through the turnstiles.

Clean As You Go helped out Showplace UK Ltd with an emergency clean of Robert Wiseman Dairies’ Marquee tent by cleaning down hard plastic walls with solvent cleaners and general muck prior to it opening to the general public. We completed the clean by giving it a final hoover and making it as presentable as possible, deep cleaning windows both sides and washing the PVC window sills.

Event Cleaning : T in the Park 2010 (TITP 2010)

Clean As You Go were selected as the cleaning contractor for this years T in the Park Live Music Event. After a succesful tenure at last years “The Gathering” in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, we were headhunted by Portakabin Uk Ltd Events Department, to provide washroom cleaning for campsite ‘Re-Fresh’ Zones, Hospitality, The Artists Village, The BBC production crew, Security Compounds, Tayside & Durham Police Force & Portakabins own Washroom and Shower facilities for over 85,000 visitors to Balado, Kinross. we’re proud to have been awarded this prestigious contract and we have been asked to provide similar services for TITP 2011.

The event went very smoothly from start to finish and we wish to thank all the team members for their efforts over the 3 days of the event. The wet weather made it a demanding clean however we got the job done much to the satisfaction of the organisers DF Concerts.

End of Tenancy Cleaning in Stockbridge Flat, Edinburgh. April 2010

We did an End of Tenancy clean in Stockbridge, of a top floor flat in Learmonth Crescent which had been vacated by the last tenant and required a thorough clean of all rooms, including the windows both sides and the gas oven. We cleaned the bathroom, moved a piano out the spare room and thoroughly hoovered all the rooms.

The grey plastic kitchen sink had a bad stain in it and this was removed by a stain removing chemical we use that works with cold water. We also degreased his hob extractor and replaced the filter.
